Oh I like selling but not on ebay....I'd rather just make music all day long and make psychedelic videos. Trouble with that is buying music is no longer en vogue. A person can sign up for i-tunes or whatever, pay a monthly fee and have unlimited down loads. I literally get paid pennies for plays and downloads. Unless you really ride a wave it's pretty hard to catch on.
However I never give up and I'm impatiently waiting for itunes to release a weird track I made two years ago. Timing is everything and it doesn't hurt if this time I am ready.
You see there is more than one way to skin a cat. Believe I've tried. I can remember 4 years ago not being ready and having people take things away from me and not have the power to take them back. I might have been asking for it in some ways but others took and profited. I made nothing. This time I'll be ready and if i can't make a living selling I certainly will try my hand at suing.
Although a well placed song, press release or better still a certain press conference and me in the right position at the right time...yes like Steve Miller, I do believe I'll take the money and run....What will kill is waiting...although if i see my song on the front page of itunes I think I can breathe a sigh of relief and write my own ticket. Oh yes there would be a shopping spree...lot of noise makers to purchase...oh and some photographic equipment. Yachts, mansions, fast cars? Those things would be boring...I'd rather create things and play audio god than live off the fat.

One way to take out the competition is make or file a false vero claim on ebay
It's also a great way to go to jail for a long long time. It's called wire fraud. When someone makes a false claim of trademark for something they couldn't possibly own it is a fraudulent act. This happened to me yesterday.
Another ebay user who will go nameless threatened to report me to their vero program. The vero program is a system where copyright and trademark owners apply for membership so ebay can do all the dirty work for you. Someone must of sued the crap out of ebay years ago. Companies don't create such programs unless they've been sued numerous times. Case and point youtube's content id system.
So I was threatened. This person spoke in the third person and told me he and his associates would report me if i didn't remove a listing. The 1st red flag should be why would this person privately approach me? Why wouldn't he just go through with the process to vero? I'll tell you why, he was full of shit.
Ignorance is not a defense in wire fraud. He knew very well he did not own the rights to the name was I calling a product. He may or may not be directly associated with another party(who also has no claim and would be denied if they tried to apply now). It really doesn't matter even if the other party makes the claim and say vero is flawed and ebay removes my listing based upon lies then they along with ebay and the other schmuck would be guilty of wire fraud. They would have collectively participated in a scam using internet communications to hurt my business.
It's funny I was thinking about that very idea of hurting one's business and the why's and how. I expect that not only am I getting blamed for a reduction in sales but they saw no fault in their own business practices which included undercutting resellers/dealers such as myself and quite possibly delaying my shipments. Can the last part be proven? Oh yes it can because they put it in writing that they forgot about my old orders, shipped newer orders and the old ones were delayed a week. Then of course any such accusation on their part will result in a counter measure of an entire shipping audit of their company. After that I'm quite sure a good many of my orders would have been carelessly delayed. Whether this was done maliciously is open to interpretation. However if it appears only my orders were delayed and based on all the other lies and dirty business tactics such as undercutting me and lying about it well one can easily be lead to believe they at the very least didn't give a fuck.
Reduction in sales is the most amusing one to me. The reason their sales are down is they undercut resellers and destroy the market place. Based upon the threat I received from another ebay member they sell on ebay against their resellers. He used the words WE, US, etc. And the most important reason their sales are down is I quit selling for them!!!!
But back to this schmuck...he sent me a false take down notice hoping somehow i'd be intimidated. The only one who is going to be intimidated is he when he receives a summons for his arraignment for wire fraud. Yes the information he provided me has been forwarded to the proper authorities. Ebay has been contacted as well. They've kicked people off for less.
How does the song go? Don't mess with Bill? Exactly...and people think all this is coincidental. None of it is. I send out very strong waves and they can reach around the globe. Those who do me wrong have bad things happen to them and they often tie their own noose. This is most definitely a case and point. I don't always have to fuck back to fuck. Has grown quite tired of Guitar Rig
It was fun for a while until I started playing higher and faster and it pretty much just craps out. I know there's a big difference between guitar amp modeling and my Vox Pathfinder but I sometimes crave filter effects and don't have any in the analog state right now.
Along with Guitar Rig I'm sick of these M-Audio speakers...they might make better sneakers if I wore a size 4 but as far as handling bass or high pitched twang...they can't hang in there. Unfortunately I don't have a bass amp or a tube guitar amp with a large enough presence...although my vox really does try....A nice 4x10 cab would be nice...as well as a 2x12...speakers matter...why even a 1x12 would also be useful.
Another reason I don't practice with my Vox much is I'll just wear it out and it sounds so good too...Also despite being only about 7 watts it is certainly loud....Get the Fuzz on the neck pick up and the house does shake a bit. Yeah sure my 120 watt Jazz Chorus is much louder but not nearly as sweet.
So you just won the lottery and don't know what to do with the money? I'll send a shopping list.

Looks like I'm not the only reseller being screwed
A French store/company is suing Apple for hogging their inventory and undercutting them on price. It's astounding that companies would bite the hand that feeds them but even more shocking when one reads the comments suggesting it is perfectly okay for companies to act this way.
The problem I see is much more political. Most of these products are being manufactured overseas. The companies themselves are communists by design and possibly genetic wise.
Americans no longer manufacturer so we have a consumer market/service market. These companies get tax breaks and loopholes for taking their business overseas. Americans should at least be able to work for commission but these companies get greedy and they undercut their resellers(Americans). Once they think they've established an internet presence they no longer see the need for resellers and seek to sell to anyone.
These companies need to be called out for their actions. I will certainly continue to flog one in public for their unscrupulous business practices. When someone lies to you, what good are they? When they tell you one thing and do another, what good are they? They deserve their businesses to be crushed like a piece of chalk under the force of a 20 lbs maul.
I remember this one company telling me in writing they used to sell on Ebay in competition versus their resellers but stopped after too many complaints. I never noticed them. I wasn't selling for them then. They of course deny that they sell on Ebay against their resellers but I see things differently.
I recall one October I was handed an offer to sell a particular item buy one get one free. I was also told in writing I'd be the only one so I should have a monopoly. As it turned out they didn't like my pricing and said something to that effect. I tried to educate them that it was necessary to cover additional Ebay fees. My base price was already low but I had to also cover the additional shipping they'd charge me. Well it wasn't long before I had competition. He just happened to be someone who made custom props for them and was the only reseller I could see who was able to sell the more expensive skeletons, models from the larger company who licenses certain brands to them. I wasn't the only one who was perplexed at how he could sell certain things for what appeared to be below cost. On the buy 1 get one free he was definitely doing that. So in a sense they were using him to sell against me.
When a company representative listed on the BBB site as their "principal" denies knowing who another reseller is that tells me they are in bed and their beds are certainly not too far apart. When another listed on the BBB site as 3rd in command but probably 4th since one or more names are omitted tells me they don't charge a handling fee or charge up on shipping and another one of her colleagues tells me the same thing yet they operate a retail site out of the same building and charge less...well I'm likely to think something stinks.
Business I suppose has always been cut throat but when you cut the throat of someone who has done so much for you what does that say? Exactly how do you justify that? Well when your business starts to fail you'll start to believe in the devil.

Fact is I don't know how to cheat like others do
I found myself wondering out loud how some on ebay can gain higher exposure in the search standings despite no reputation. Well in a crooked round about way I determined exactly how they are doing it.
A couple weeks ago google told me and others their shopping search would become a pay site. No more data feeds unless you fork over the dough. For the longest time I wondered why I never got sales on my dot com addresses but plenty(although dwindling) on ebay? Well it didn't take long to find out how my advantage was being nullified once again.
all I had to do was plug in my best selling prop and sure enough my attention was caught. I was selling the prop for $69.95 with free shipping and noticed someone else doing the same. I clicked on the ad. thinking some schmuck had come along to try and compete...it turned out to be the same old schmuck. However when i clicked on his ad. that appeared to be the same it was not. On ebay he was charging!
you see what this filthy son of a bitch was doing was turning on free shipping briefly and then turning it off. That data feed was sent to google and it remained until it refreshed. I looked at his ad. revisions and on numerous ads. he was routinely editing his shipping.
Complaint forms have been forwarded to google as well as ebay. If neither does something I will of course step in.
This is unbelievable. Not only is one of my distributors undercutting me but their bum buddy in their own neighborhood has been manipulating search standings to nullify me. It wasn't 1 week into selling one of the brass asses told me to go fuck off...well i see now his BOY has been well trained in the art of BULLSHIT. All the money taken away from me through criminal activity.
Ebay has once chance to take action or I WILL. Enough is enough. I'm not the problem it's the criminal nature of chicago.
I don't expect a lot of sympathy for me. not a whole lot of people give a rat's ass for me. I'm being cheated out of my due. I worked hard and I was robbed by criminals. I might add criminals who would never step a punch's length from my person. If the son's of bitches who back stab me and fuck me over EVER knew what I was capable of they'd beg for mercy.

Concentrate on gardening and the attacks come on ebay
Last few days have been very hot. Mid 90's and sunny for the most part. I tilled a 12'x4' bed and removed potatoes, did the same to a 3'x8' bed as well as an odd bed around 7'x7' or more. Worked slow release fertilizer into all and added weed guard and sowed broccoli and cauliflower.
I started another new bed 5'x12' and worked in peat moss, cow manure and added weed guard , fertilizer. I also cleared a 15'x20' bed of potatoes and sowed 5 lbs of peas. I also worked in slow release fertilizer and 2 bales of peat most layered on top. I fixed my green house and cleaned it up a bit. From all the beds I must have moved 8 cu yards of compost on my shoulder in a trash barrel.
In other words I worked my fucking ass off. Every time I walk inside I get all these attack emails from users on ebay with feedback scores of zero saying how i've been reported and blah blah. I haven't had time to edit and between my former distributor under cutting me and ebay reducing my search standing getting the fall garden in order was WAYYYYY more important.
I actually had control over my garden. I have no control over back stabbers. I expect pests in a garden. I expect weeds. So I try to take proactive measure to reduce them. I can't control those with all the chips 1000's of miles away. I can only rely on my will and my shoulder to see things get done and I accomplish my goals. It's the games that prevent me from obtaining my goals. Bugs and weeds don't really play games. if you serve what they want they'll come. The only way to prevent them from arriving at your door step with a bib, fork and knife is to trick them up. Change the crops around to confuse them. Plant crops they don't like. If they're attacking below ground plant something like peas and beans and they'll go away.
Good luck trying to stop the trouble makers out in Halloween land. Good luck thinking anyone is independent. Most things are connected. Try something different and the bugs will adapt. It's all very ruthless and criminal..then again we are talking about chicago and I don't garden there.

Company Undercutting It's Resellers
There is a company out there whose business model is based upon lying. Yes that's right, lying. It's the same kind of model con artists, drug dealers and other criminals adopt. They'll piss down your back and tell you it's raining. When you call their bluff they act hurt and play victim.
Last year I noticed one of their many website was selling wholesale. I confronted them and they played stupid. I kept badgering them until they agreed to raise prices. They decided on 9/11. I wonder if they had anything to do with 9/11??? That's a funny date to pick. Basically they sabotaged all my sales because they saw me as a threat building a strong customer base and also effortlessly dominating search standings without spending one penny. Why was I so successful? Did I go to college to learn some new tricks? I was successful because I am a deal maker. I can negotiate. I am fair and just. I am candid. I know Halloween and people appreciated my knowledge and how I knew everything about the products I sold because I studied them.
So for 9 months last year I had to compete with my distributor who was selling wholesale to anyone who approached them or landed on one of their many sites including secret ebay handles. 9 fucking months I had a knife in my back. You see it's about the time kids go back to school(early Sept.) people take notice of Halloween. There is a chill in the air. The tomatoes are all turning red, bees are dying, days are getting noticeably shorter, it's warm during the day and cool at night, the brush is dying back and leaves are getting a little crisp as they make preparation to descend. You see by that time having held me back by undercutting me they assured themselves the larger portion of sales because they can afford to buy search standings. They're going to have people hit one of their numerous wholesale destinations. There other business model is back stabbing.
Very recently my sales have dropped and I was thinking it must be the economy. Then I went to one of their sites and noticed they were back to wholesaling. They were wholesaling everywhere including totally unknown sites like Amazon. No one shops on Amazon. It's not like Amazon doesn't advertise or anything. So I confront them again and their reaction was the last straw.
I was told the bmw driving dork of a ceo was just another reseller! I was told they don't make money on shipping. I was told they were very concerned with my concerns and had the audacity to ask me to point out which prices I did not like!!! They charge me $12-$14 to ship a little lightweight item that could easily ship USPS Priority(free box and all)but would charge customers on their wholesale sites $6 s&h. Mind you the principle was pennies or a dollar above the wholesale price they charge me!
It costs money to list on ebay or feebay as well as my own websites. I can't compete with those prices. In this day and age very few customers purchase without researching the lowest price. I worked very hard and they were the beneficiaries of my tireless efforts and this is an illustration of how ungrateful they truly are. Shouldn't really come as a surprise considering the criminal history of the city in which they dwell with a foreigner for a mayor whose father was a terrorist. They're nothing but a bunch of soulless fucks who can go fuck off!
