Scorpio rising?

Was taking the dog out quite high on a coffee/sugar buzz...still beaming as a matter of fact when I noticed how clear the nighttime sky was and how vibrant the constellations were.

It was and is quite remarkable...I almost couldn't or didn't recognize some I normally recognize because the stars around them were more visible.

Then off in the east i see 3 stars in vertical alignment...From what i now gather they make up the constellation Scorpius.

funny i was just watching some Led Zeppelin videos/interviews. 99% of humans would not get my point but there was this movie Jimmy Page was suppose to do the music for Lucifer Rising...a film by Kenneth Anger who had previously done Scorpio Rising. Page and Anger did not get along or had a falling out. So the music never got to film. It's scheduled to be released or was released by Page.

Lycos takes 2 months to answer a DMCA take down notice

Should they compensate me for ignoring my DMCA take down notice?   My outbox indicates I sent it. If I sent it I think they probably got it. I used the same address before 2 years ago to complain about the same person. He simply created a new site on Angelfire which is owned by Lycos.

So I get this form letter stating the case is closed and if there is anything more I need contact them. This comes after the letter saying they removed the content in a timely manner. 2 months is not timely.

I told them to fork over some dough. I think they should too.

I mean why should I be denied rights and royalty?  I bet he's busy making a new site i wont see for another 2 years.

You lose the safe harbor provision in the DMCA when you ignore take down notices. Lycos should compensate me. 10's and 20's are fine but lots of em.

I mean why should I struggle to pay my bills or not have enough money to buy the music equipment I need?   Why should I be budgeting when I look at Wah Wah pedals?  I should just be able to order anyone I want. I shouldn't have to create a composite sale to raise enough dough to buy 1 item. I should be able to just pick the model I want out. Speaking of picks I started getting interesting in experimenting with them. I shouldn't have to sit there and sift through to see what kind of experimentation I can afford I should just be able to buy the picks I want. Hell I should be able to have a gold pick made. I wont stop there though. I shouldn't have to think about which key of harmonica to order I should just be able to order all the keys I desire. If I want a new computer and want to try an Apple this time I should just be able to pick up the phone and order a 12 core monster.

I am prohibited from this because people steal from me. I'm prohibited from this because places like Lycos and Pirate Bay ignore take down notices and others take my music and sell it on Ebay without giving me credit.

In other words the last thing I should be concerned about is money.

Don't really understand the better business bureau

Being the "chicago" one might have something to do with the lack of logic. We're are talking about one of the trashiest cities in the country.

Yesterday I noticed more changes to 3 entries but no explanation as to what they mean or who initiated the changes. There is a direct connection between the wholesaler and the retailer though. However both those sites have removed their bbb links/seals. They had been using the bbb accredited seals for years and then suddenly the bbb said they weren't and then they were removed. Baffling.

The other thing is the very name better business bureau. What is the purpose?  to most lay persons it means a neutral agency is evaluating businesses on a routine basis. They also claim it is consumer based evaluations however how can that solely describe a business?

There is a new trend in business and that is so called manufacturers/wholesalers are purposely without any conscious undercutting their dealers. That is most definitely true of the one company I will not name because I don't want to advertise for them.

The bbb in chicago is not particularly bright or imaginative. They see no harm to consumers when a wholesaler sells for different(lower) prices on a retail site. I wasn't the only one being ripped off on shipping. Their retail site often shipped items for $6 but the wholesale site charged $14 or more. If you consider home haunters were given a 33% discount and the retailer was basically selling at near a 50% discount and significantly lower shipping they were being ripped off too!  It was all a shell game.

Now what was I?  A dealer?  Reseller?  I was not getting the lowest price. So I wasn't that. I was a shopper who sent lots of gifts to friends.

When you consider another "reseller" said he was them then what was I?  If they were selling in my market place in direct competition with me, what then was I?  Besides foolish not to trust my original instincts?  What made me or it so different the items went to another address than my own?  Their retail site shipped for less. The bbb site now states wholesale aka retailer. Their other name is listed as marketing consultants.

It's amazing an entity like the bbb can't see how unethical these people are. Oh they're idiots to be sure but this is not a mistake on their part. They sought to rip me and others off. They used to sell on ebay but their dealers complained so they supposedly stopped. Well they never stopped. I should go to all their business profiles and list my business credentials and bring up the unethical tendencies of former business associates. Yes i worked with "jane doe" who was in charger of out under cutting departments and john doe who was in charge of price fixing via ridiculous wholesaler created price wars on ebay.

How the hell do you go from BBB accredited to non accredited?

I mean since 2008 this company has said they were bbb accredited and if you clicked the link it stated they were such on the bbb site but now is outrageously bold orange lettering it states

THIS BUSINESS IS NOT BBB ACCREDITED

Sometimes when you want to get drunk you can't

Reality nullifies any sort of distraction such as wanting to conk out.

Tonight I resubmitted my complaints to the Chicago Better Business Bureau regarding a certain unscrupulous company who carries on in most unsavory and with unscrupulous manners.  Absolutely no response. So I go to the website and in large bold print 2 of the entries by this company state they are not accredited.  This comes about despite the fact not only the Chicago BBB states they were accredited but their very websites have the moniker of such.

In other words..ummm What words?  pass the buck????  Chew and screw???  What sort of organization carries on like this? Forget the company for a second but is the company that bad they are running with embarrassment????

In my initial 2 complaints I was nauseatingly frank and thorough. I made my points and could do so again a top a soap box without problem. However what made an agency edit their own site without replying?

This is rather incredible. A few weeks ago I see to have noticed the company entries had changed by adding dot come to their entries. What the hell is going on?  I wasn't paying attention the 1st time. What happened this time? You don't just get non accredited and advertise other wise with a link.

Are they trying to give me the cold shoulder or is this the single most egregious attempt to defraud consumers?

I was a consumer contrary to other phrasing. I purchase quite a lot of merchandise since 2008 from this company which I shall refer to as yucky. All the while I purchased from them they sold to others on another site just above wholesale.

This is just toooo  much....I need to stick to guitar and singing....

Amazon wishlist sucks

Problem is most of the crap on Amazon is small over priced junk. One who appreciates the sonic value of high quality musical equipment cannot possibly assemble a wishlist of any significance utilizing that site. Much of the problems probably has to do with fees. It's very expensive to sell on amazon 15% last time I checked.

You see it makes no sense for a small company especially to deal with them or a store that deals with high competition.

Even when you can find certain brands it's always the department store effect which is not a lot of variety. Case and point Apple. Now while there are people selling Apple computers on there they don't cover all the models. After all this is a wish list so I get to reach for the stars not have to settle for limitation in my fantasy. That is not how day dreamers carry on. Once I see I can have a 12 core with solid state drives, 64 GB's of spam I mean ram and a 27 inch cinema display I'm gonna configure that fucker to my heart's content.

Just to prove I'm not a total fascist when I look for guitar amps while it might be fun to add a vintage re-issue from Fender I'm quite sure I'd prefer a Dr. Z.You wont find Dr. Z on Amazon. That goes for a whole lotta stop boxes. while you might find a few you'd like to dream about you wont find hardly any you'd want to cream about.

Certainly if you're busy day dreaming you want an Apogee interface as well as several new microphone preamps, microphones, etc. The variety and specialty just wont be there.

Don't get me started on guitars. Suppose I want to wish for a new Taylor 12 string guitar but I want it to be rather unique and perhaps from Wildwood Guitars...They actually sell the guitar pictured rather than show a stock photo. I aint gonna find that more than likely on Amazon.

Amazon is clearly standing in the way of day dream engineers such as myself.
